Women In Film Dallas (WIFD) Scholastic Grant Fund is a non-profit organization and is part of a global community that empowers, promotes and mentors women in film, television and the digital media industry through networking, recognition and educational opportunities.
The 2019 WIFD ARRI Camera Course Grant was awarded to a WIFD member to aid in the development of their career in the film industry.
The ARRI Certified User Training for Camera Systems course (a $1500 value) is a training course that covers all aspects of shooting with the ALEXA LF, ALEXA SXT, ALEXA Mini and AMIRA.
The applicant chose between 2 course dates: November 7-9, 2019 in Brooklyn, NY OR December 12-14, 2019 in Burbank, CA. The award recipient received financial reimbursement to cover travel related costs (up to $1500), thanks to Top Pup Media.
The recognition of the recipient took place during the WIFD Topaz Film Festival Awards Ceremony on September 21, 2019.
