While we found success in the 2007 legislative session, our work is far from over and as TXMPA enters its second year, we need your help to remain focused on productive incentive efforts. The next meeting is Saturday, June 28th!

Our WIF.D President, Meredith Stephens, is a busy lady. Not only does she find the time to volunteer to lead our organization, she is also the President of the Texas Motion Picture Alliance, an organization of organizations from all over the state of Texas dedicated to significantly bolstering and expanding the existing infrastructure of the film, video, interactive media, and video game production industry in the State of Texas.

Meredith is stepping down after the TXMPA Annual Membership Meeting and Election Saturday, June, 28th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Auditorium at The Ragsdale Center - St. Edwards University, Austin, TX.

WIF.D member Don Stokes is up for re-election and WIF.D member and sponsor, Jeff Evans has been nominated.  North Texas needs to maintain its presence by supporting these candidates.  The new TXMPA President will be chosen from the new board!

Membership dues are now required to support the organization and only paid members may vote.  Please visit www.txmpa.org and join now, basic membership is $50.  The Texas film industry needs your support and together, we can continue to make a difference for the hard working professionals in our state.
