Tips For a Successful Mentorship
We are looking forward to our launch of the WIF.D mentoring program.

We’re excited that you are interested in pursuing a career in TV/Film! Women in Film Dallas is committed to mentoring the best and the brightest in the industry and we are confident this experience will bring depth and improved understanding in your area of interest. Please note that in order to get the most out of a mentorship, the impetus of the information sought needs to come from the mentee. This means that the onus is on the mentee to prepare in advance by researching the field of interest and creating a list of specific questions to ask the mentor. The mentor will make her/himself available to provide feedback on specific topics but is not expected nor required to direct the research or career direction of the mentee.

Please take advantage of the list of selected reading that we have put together especially for this mentoring program. This will help you on your way to a successful journey by assisting you in your research.
