Eleven short films by Women in Film.Dallas members will screen as part of Chick Flicks 4, WIF.D's fourth annual showcase of the best short films by local women filmmakers. The event will be held at 7:00 pm at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas on September 13, 2005.

The films selected for this year's showcase are:

All entries highlight the work of a member or members of Women in Film.Dallas in a major role: director, producer, writer, actor, cinematographer or editor. The films span many genres: documentary, dramatic narrative, experimental, comedies, animation, and are made by women of all ages and backgrounds. Also screening is the :30 public service announcement
produced by Women in Film.Dallas members in 2004 for Meals on Wheels, as well as MALEBOX by the Women in Film 24-hour video race team.

The show will commence at 7:00 pm on September 14. Details about the screening and after-screening festivities will be posted at www.wifdallas.org.
