Work hands-on with experienced production professionals while learning the skills of an Associate Producer or Editor! Gain school credit, a finished piece for your reel, and the kind of training you can only gather in the field.

Women In Film.Dallas will produce a marketing video for a non-profit organization. The project involves creating the concept, combining different media, and several days of shooting on HIGH DEFINITION!

Pre-production will begin June 1, 2007. Production and post-production will extend through October. Internship will begin June 1 and extend through production.

Production Internship

Work hands-on with experienced production professionals while learning the skills of an Associate Producer! Gain school credit, a finished piece for your reel, and the kind of training you can only gather in the field.

Intern will work directly with keys during pre-production and production, learning the skills specifically related to directing and producing. On set training will include working with a Department Head to learn the skills needed to succeed in the area of your interest. Opportunity to learn shooting skills, producing skills, lighting skills, as well as recording HD on P2 cards.

Post-production Internship

Intern will work directly with keys during production and side-by-side with an experienced editor during post-production. On set training will include working with a Department Head to learn the skills needed to succeed in the area of your interest. Opportunity to learn shooting skills, producing skills, lighting skills, as well as knowledge about acquiring footage recorded on P2 cards, and post-production workflow for P2 technology.
