Lynne Reynolds was educated at Southwest Texas State
University, Illinois Wesleyan University, and the Bloomington Institute of
Radiological Technology. First employed as a licensed X-ray tech in Surgery and
ER, she's been "film" from the start. After relocating to Houston and then
Dallas, Lynne began doing voice over work and acting in commercials, features
and corporate productions. Loving the
camaraderie behind the scenes and attending a course for Script Supervisors at
Cinema Arts Tech in Los Angeles led her into production.
In 2005, she began working with a team of Dallas film
industry professionals as a producer on multiple independent film
projects. Her responsibilities include
creating business plans, budgets, distribution plans, revenue projections,
editing creative content and supervising the selection of production
talent. She joined ThinkTank Entertainment,
in 2006 as a producer for "Kamp Hollywood", a summer camp for aspiring teenage
filmmakers, now in its 8th year. Now, after having completed her
first screenplay in 2007, Lynne's focus is on writing and developing a
documentary based on the lifetime achievements of a local philanthropic and
civic leader.
Bringing a unique blend of business experience, creativity,
and energy, Lynne is actively involved in supporting many organizations
including Dallas Producer's Association, Texas Motion Picture Alliance, Reading
and Radio Resources for the Blind, Arts Fighting Cancer and specifically, Women
in Film.Dallas as Co-chair for publicity. She continues to work as a marketing
consultant for Mid America Commodities, and ELR, two family owned, international
businesses.
