TXMPA's SMOKIN’ SHOWBIZ PARTY! Fabulous food & drink, photos ops galore and live music by Second Nature ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS WEDNESDAY August 20!!

On Saturday, August 23, Texas Motion Picture Alliance presents a night of prizes, personalities and paparazzi – all to benefit the biggest name in Texas showbiz -TXMPA!

The Studios at Las Colinas will play host to hundreds of producers, directors, actors, film crew, video game developers, and more as the industry comes together to raise funds earmarked for lobbying efforts to bring more business to Texas. Actress Janine Turner, Northern Exposure, serves as the event’s honorary host and other recognizable personalities from Friday Night Lights and Prison Break will be on hand. Live music will be performed by popular area band Second Nature.

The red-carpet rollout begins at 7:00 p.m. in Building One of the studios, located at 6301 Riverside Drive in Irving, TX 75039. Reservations may be made at www.txtalent.net and are $25 through August 20 or $35 at the door. The event is open to everyone.
