LOVE AND HONOR Screening At The Angelika In Dallas (All Day)
FUNimation® Entertainment, Eleven Arts, and the Angelika Theatre in Dallas will host the Japanese box office hit LOVE AND HONOR in an exclusive theatrical run.

The feature film has shown at some of the world’s most prominent film festivals, including The Tokyo International Film Festival, the Berlin International Film Festival and the Seattle International Film Festival. In addition, The Japanese Academy Awards nominated LOVE AND HONOR for 13 awards. From the creators of the award winning THE TWILIGHT SAMURAI and THE HIDDEN BLADE, comes LOVE AND HONOR, the dramatic story that completes director Yoji Yamada’s Samurai trilogy.

The film depicts a strong and deep love between a young samurai who loses his eyesight during a mission and his wife who eventually sacrifices herself to save her husband's honor. Fans of Asian cinema will have several opportunities to see LOVE AND HONOR.

SHUT UP AND SHOOT ME Screening (7:00PM)
Last Asylum Entertainment with AFI Dallas will host a private engagement screening of "Shut Up and Shoot Me" winner of the Target Filmmaker Award at the 2007 AFI Dallas International Film Festival.

Thursday, Aug. 14th at Studio Movie Grill on Royal at 7:00 p.m.

The event is free and Last Asylum Entertainment will donate a can of soup to the North Texas Food Bank for every seat filled in the theatre.
